Why Javascript is BAD!!!

September 20, 2007 15:45 by ndibek

Just logged into my Google email account.  I have a list of dozen or so chained emails (bunch of replies between me and few of my coleques).  Expanding one of the replies (they are inside colapsible regions), revelead the error bellow:

Now who would debug auto generated script file of 173 million lines of code?  Enough with the AJAX nonsense! It is time for Silverlight (1.1 that is, the one with DL engine)!

Hi,

This is wiser and slightly older Nermin from the future.  Actually few days ago my friend Richard told me a little secret:  “IE7 and Google do not cooperate well. Try the same thing in FireFox”.  I did - and it worked!  While I still think that it is ridiculous to code large amounts of logic in JavaScript, my apologies to Google, for putting the blame only on them.
